The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB enables mowing work on slopes of up to 45 degrees. This is because it is equipped with an AS-Motor 2-stroke engine. This engine complies with the current EU emissions directive 97/68/EC and is therefore the only 2-stroke engine mounted on petrol lawn mowers in the world that complies with this emissions directive. The AS 2-stroke engine is equipped with an EasyStart function as standard. The digital CDI ignition system halves the speed required for starting, making the AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB very easy to start. The petrol lawn mower delivers full power even with taller and wet grass. This is ensured by the high torque generated by the AS-Motor 2-stroke engine. The third crankshaft bearing in conjunction with the safety blade carrier and the friction disks on the wing blade offer high engine protection in the event of a collision with foreign objects.
The all-wheel drive in combination with the 2-stroke engine allows you to work under difficult conditions – on uneven terrain as well as on steep slopes. The all-wheel drive ensures excellent propulsion in all conditions. Thanks to the large, profiled drive wheels, the AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB always has the best grip. If the slope becomes so steep that the transmission no longer inhibits itself, the brake helps. This can also be used as a parking brake.
The Variomat allows you to easily and continuously adjust the driving speed to the respective conditions. The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB also has a reverse gear. The 6-fold cutting height adjustment from 30 – 100 mm is convenient and comfortable for each axle. The powerful 2-stroke engine with a maximum of 6.0 HP and the cutting width of 53 cm enable area outputs of up to 2,500 m² per hour. The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB can easily handle grass heights of up to 40 cm.
